By accessing or using Roomivo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility & Student Verification
Roomivo is exclusively designed for verified college students seeking roommate matches. You agree to provide accurate, truthful information regarding your identity, academic year, department, and contact details.
3. Privacy & Data Collection
We collect profile information (including Full Name, Gender, College, Year of Study, Department, Room Sharing Preferences, and Bio) to facilitate roommate discovery. Contact information is only displayed according to your selected WhatsApp and profile visibility preferences. If you submit a safety report, Roomivo stores the report details, the involved profile and account references, your account contact email, and any WhatsApp number you choose to provide. Safety reports remain available for administrator review if a profile is later removed.
4. Profile Lockout & Security Policies
To maintain platform integrity and prevent impersonation, core identity details are locked upon submission. If a profile is deleted, the associated account will be permanently restricted from re-registering to prevent directory abuse.
5. User Conduct & Zero Harassment Policy
Users must maintain respectful communication at all times. Spamming, harassment, impersonation, or providing false information will result in immediate profile purging and permanent account termination.
6. Limitation of Liability
Roomivo acts purely as a peer-discovery tool. The platform and its creator are not responsible for final room allocations, off-platform user interactions, or roommate disputes.
